Let's Talk about Sex Baby, all weekend!!

It's Toronto Tuesday and what better thing to talk about on a Tuesday than Sex.

Coming this Friday to the Toronto Convention Centre is the Everything to do with Sex show.  Lots of the usual, the Dungeon, Seminars and the Main stage where you can catch some hot buff men strutting in barely nothing.

But the New also sounds pretty fab, a fifty shades playroom featuring kinky toys based off the book series, plus a new Sexy Fitness Area, Celebrity Star area and an Erotic Art Area.

My favourite part may be the food truck alley that they will have outside. Food is sexy and The Food Dudes, will be supplying all the sexy food you can handle.

Early bird tickets are on sale online right now for $21.75 and it will be $25.00 at the door.  You can also buy a weekend pass for $30.00 online and $35.00 at the door.  There is also a Romance Package for $199.00 online and it includes 1 night hotel room at the InterContinental, a bottle of Sparkling Wine, Chocolate covered Strawberries, Valet Parking (for 1 Vehicle) and 2 weekend passes to the show.

Show runs from Friday November 2 at 3pm to Midnight, Saturday November 3 at 11am to Midnight and Sunday November 4 at 11am to 6pm.

Bond, James Bond at Tiff Lightbox

This past friday, Tiff Lightbox opened another exhibit Designing 007, 50 Years of Bond Style.  All in time of the release of Skyfall on November 9th.

There will be hundreds of costumes, props and other great gadgets from almost all the 23 Bond Films. This exhibit is a smaller version of the original presentation at London's Barbican.

One of the highlights very well may be the all things Golden room, also everyone would love to catch a glimpse of the 007 engraved bullet. You can also take a trip to the very rare Casino setting.

What I look forward to seeing the most is those metal teeth from the very large evil henchman " Jaws".

This exhibit will make the perfect spot for a date night a little something for him and a little something for her.  Don't forget to get have a few martinis when finished.  Shakin not Stirred of course!!!

Exhibit runs from October 26, 2012 to January 20, 2013, tickets are $15.00 and free for Lightbox members.

Stella Sisters cover Robyn's "Call your Girlfriend"

Being out of the social media circle has left me out of the loop, but thankfully I was able to come across this amazing performance that has gone viral on Youtube. Two Sisters, Lennon 13 and Maisy 8,  singing my favourite Robyn song "Call your Girlfriend".

These two sweethearts recently made their television debut on Nashville, the new country drama this fall.  A dream come true for these two Whitby, Ontario natives and from the sounds of these girls voices, I think we will be hearing a lot more of them. Maybe there is even an Ellen interview in the works??

Adele - Skyfall (James Bond Theme)

I took myself out of social media for a bit there, but this new track by my brit crush has pulled me right back.

Adele seems the perfect fit for a sultry James Bond Theme. There are rumours that Muse was in the running, but it's been confirmed by Skyfall producers Barbara Broccoli and Michael G Wilson that Adele was their first choice.

Enjoy the track till you are able to catch the film in theaters on November 9.

Kendrick Lamar - good kid, m.A.A.d city

After a long anticipating wait, it is finally here! Kendrick Lamar's first studio, debut album good kid, m.A.A.d city is available for purchase in stores on and iTunes. I was lucky enough to get my hands on the album a couple of days ago and I can genuinely say it is worth the purchase. K. Dot's just a damn talented emcee who has both underground heads nodding and mass appeal, and he's just getting started... I feel like [bold statement alert] he could be a legend in the making.

R. Kelly's Trapped in the Closet Returns!

He marries teens, he pees on teens, he writes amazing slow jams, and occasional offensive sex jams, he produces feel good music, and used to be considered quite the sex symbol for a lot of ladies, R. Kelly has done a lot in his life and musical career, but did I forget to mention he also created a hip-hopera? I'm not referring to that horrible, Beyonce-starring BET piece of---- Carmen, no I'm referring Trapped in the Closet which he included on his album T-3: Reloaded. Do you remember when R. Kelly dropped the first 5 videos in 2005? I remember it fondly, it brings me back to my hiphop messageboard days, which I often miss, plus the videos were not only interesting but they were also hilarious to dissect and discuss. I also remember hearing that more were on their way, but I think by then I had lost interest, since I had NO idea there are a total of 22 chapters in the series!!! Well as luck may have it, we can all revisit that sordid tale of love, sex, betrayal and secrets with another chapter. That's right R. Kelly is breaking the fourth wall of the narrative and speaking directly to the viewer in Chapter 23 of the Trapped in the Closet series November 23rd on IFC. After a 5-year hiatus, IFC will be airing the original series in full for the two hours prior to the premiere, for those of us who need to catch up! It has been confirmed that it will run for at least 20 episodes! It gets better, R. Kelly states that he has a hundred episodes to come, that "it's forever."

This is real life. And it's all happening! I can not wait.

Beyonce Confirmed for Super Bowl Half-Time Show

Yesterday Beyonce confirmed via her Tumblr page, that she will be performing during one of the most-viewed sporting events in North America, Super Bowl XLVII . I find it ironic that a woman who sings about "putting a ring on it" will be performing for a stadium full of jewelry-hungry men.

After the Janet Jackson/Justin Timberlake "wardrobe" debacle, NFL had take a rather safe route with their musical choices, with the likes of Springsteen and The Who, but as of late they had been including more risque and theatrical performances, like Madonna this past year along with CeeLo Green, Nicki Minaj, LMFAO and M.I.A. I can't complain about their choice but it feels like they just took a step back again, since let's face it, there is nothing edgy or risque about the new mom. I'm hoping her husband Jay-Z joins her on stage, I've enjoyed 99% of their collabs.

The Grammy winning Diva will take the stage for Super Bowl XLVII at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome in New Orleans Febuary 3rd, 2013... I wonder if she'll perform "Single Ladies," perhaps an alternate NFL, man-friendly version?

Justin Bieber – Beauty And A Beat f. Nicki Minaj (video)

Justin Bieber and Nicki Minaj premiered the visuals to their collabo "Beauty And a Beat" on Friday. The track is off of Bieber's third studio album, Believe. Looks like our Canadian boy is growing up and having the time of his life. It should be noted Nicki Minaj sounds the exact same as she does on every other track I've heard her on.

Street Hearts (Photos)

The timing couldn't be more appropriate after our Thanksgiving long weekend, to share the Street Hearts project spotted on 1LoveTO. The Toronto born project began with the vision of John Douglas Muir who, through a photo-compilation book, wanted to show the world the little unexpected reminders of love we experience and witness throughout day to day life with photos of random hearts found in a paint stain on the sidewalk, a coffee spill, or a shadow.

Before completing his book, John took his own life in 2011, 2 days before his 30th birthday but his vision has since been continued by friends and family, collecting photos sent to their facebook page, facebook.com/StreetHeartsX.

Keep your eyes and your heart open to all the love you can see and share, and send in whatever images you capture.

Emmy Awards: Show Favourites

Let's talk Emmy's. They happened on Sunday and although I wasn't originally excited for them (I find they often pass by without me even realizing they were due to air), I was quite happy I watched the show. The presenters were entertaining, Jon Stewart's acceptance "entrance" was hilarious, and my idea of a fun life, Jimmy Kimmel didn't suck, and the fashion was much better than I had expected. Let's talk Emmy's fashion;
First up on the red carpet at the 2012 Emmy Awards is Modern Family's Ariel Winter, in a Katherine Kidd floral waterfall dress, which I fell in love with the moment I saw her and the rest of her "Family" on stage. It's young, fun, pretty and appropriate. A strappy silver sandal or even a one of the hues from her watercolour dress would have been a better choice for footwear, but overall I like the look.

When I saw Edie Falco presenting on stage, my first reaction was to "ooh" over the unexpected modern look the actress chose with her belted, two-tone Stella McCartney dress. Granted it's been worn on a red carpet by both Gwyneth Paltrow and an Sports Illustrated model in the past, but who says you have to always be the first to debut something great? If it's wonderful, wear it! And re-wear it! Re-vamp it, and re-wear it again!

Another "ooh" moment that I shared out loud with Ms. Heather Elle, was when Nashville star, Hayden Panettiere debut a Marchesa Spring 2013 Bollywood inspired draped gown. I absolute love this dress and am quite excited for her new show, can't wait to check out the country fashion and southern drama!

Remeber when Morena Baccarin was in that show with Tom Cruise-look-a-like Bailey from Party of Five, and we were supposed to believe that she was an alien or something? Yeah... If this is what aliens looked like, we'd have no one left on Earth! Needless to say I think she is stunning, and needs to give Christy Turlington back her face and I'll take over the ownership of this Basil Soda gown.

Canadian beauty Jessica Pare channeled her inner Grace Kelly and perhaps used her show Mad Men as inspiration in her white, one-shouldered Jason Wu gown. She kept the retro-vibe with a classic red lip and simple updo. As a woman who just embarked on a braces journey, I only had one complaint...

Tina Fey looked surprisingly lovely and elegant in a maroon Vivienne Westwood corset gown I love the embroidered neckline, and think she looks fabulous. Funny and hot? Jenny McCarthy isn't the only one!
