Bernado Bertolucci's Me and You (Io e Te) (TIFF)

Stumbling through the internet today, I came across some wonderful news Bernardo Bertolucci's new film Me and You will be at the 2012 TIFF.

His first Italian film in 30 years has come with some so so reviews. The story is about two young adults Lorenzo (Jacopo Olmo Antinori) and Olivia (Tea Falco) taking some refuge in the basement of Lorenzo's home.

Olivia is struggling with her drug demons and the rejection of her family, while Lorenzo is trying to find a quiet place to get away from all the hardships of his life. It seems like it will be a dark film but usually in the darkness there is always a silver lining.

And the silver lining may just be the soundtrack of the film. After reading quite a few reviews it seems that this album might be joining my collection of soundtracks. The album features some of the following artists The Cure, David Bowie and Canadian band Arcade Fire.  If this soundtrack is anything like his for Stealing Beauty, it's sure to be played over and over again on my stereo.
